Tommy AKA BoomStick
Growing up in Kentucky, Tommy started shooting at 5 years old and never stopped. He continued to be challenged by family members at a young age to shoot milk jugs to earn an opportunity to go hunting and became even more invested in firearms and the gun community as a whole. In 2014, things changed for Tommy though when he posted a single grainy photo of his current gear up on Instagram and things took off for him. Now Tommy is a legend and well known individual in the gun community. Tommy loves to travel around the country training with other individuals and helping people whenever he can.
Jake AKA 1911 Syndicate
Jake was introduced to Type A Rifles from a viewer of their YouTube channel, 1911 Syndicatel. Jake reached out and requested an 11.5 Pro for a review, and that review blew up was our first genuine review we took a risk on. Recently they put out a second review on a 12.5 Contractor. When Jake isn’t making Youtube Videos, he is a real estate agent for military, law enforcement and other patriots around the country.
“I don’t consider myself or our channel to be in the “influencer” category. We make straight up raw content where we share our honest opinion, much to the frustration of some companies. My Type A’s have become some of my favorite guns, I’ve never had a hiccup on any of them and I’m notoriously bad about cleaning guns. Also note worthy, virtually all rounds fired on my guns have been suppressed. Kudos from the 1911 Syndicate.”
DARON CRUICKSHANK is best known for knocking dudes out on the big screen; traveling the world and fighting people for money since 2008. He is a veteran of the UFC and is currently under contract with RIZIN FF in Japan. When he is not fighting people, he dedicates his time to the shooting sports.
Mike is a civilian shooter that first got interested in weapons for self defense in 2012. He bought his first pistol that same year and instantly became hooked. Over the years he continued to purchase more handguns to become proficient with various handgun types. After owning several pistols and starting to train with various instructors, Mike started getting into rifles. When it came to rifles, Mike prefers to buy vs build although he says tinkering with parts is fun. When it came to buying rifles, Mike learned from his pistol experience and quickly started buying the from the best manufacturers available. After his first DD he grabbed a Noveske, then a Radian, and was finally introduced to Type-A. He purchased his Noveske Bazooka Green 10.5 PRO and has blew up social media with it ever since.
“As new products are released and improvements are made to existing designs my collection will continue to grow. Most recently my focus has been on NGA items like silencers and SBRs.”
Chris and Brandon
Chris and Brandon started Type-A in 2013 after having wildly different past experiences. Call it a cosmic event, but both have that magic lightbulb together one night sitting around with family after Brandon started talking about some things he didnt like about his newly purchased AR. Together they built Type-A off hard work, dedication, and the support of fans. Lets take a look at their past experiences and what led them to building the company of Type-A Rifles.
For the last 20 years, Brandon has been climbing the corporate ladder. Starting out working at his parents deli in Long Island, NY, Brandon desired to work harder and build a company he could be proud of. He enlisted the help of his brother to start selling rifles and firearms to patriots, hunters, outdoorsman, dictators, freedom fighters along with anyone else who would be interested in purchasing firearms. He ended up falling in love to a beautiful Ukrainan woman named Ava Fontaine who he tricked into thinking Brandon as an extremely successful exporter and invested heavily into Bitcoin when it was worth less than a dollar. His Brother soon fell into a serious drug addiction and sadly was shot to death by an African child soldier during a business transaction. Brandon is now remarried to a wonderful woman and they recently built a house together.
Chris started out being a massage therapist and selling bedsheets to elderly communities in southern Florida in an effort to earn his fathers resect and love through hard work and dedication. Once that turned out to be fruitless, Chris joined the Marines at age 18 and was known for being the funny guy and always yelling KILL whenever he was asked a question. Chris single handedly secured the area affectionately known as The Triangle of Death. This caught the attention of General Jim Mattis who immediately consulted with Chris on every decision he made in the war. Chris also had a healthy side business of running Beretta handguns from Jordan to Iraq in an effort to make extra cash during his time in the war. He met Brandon through these actions and the two became best friends.
Later down the road Brandon’s father married Chris’s mother and the two became step brothers. They enjoy watching cops and eating fancy sauce together while yelling at their employees to keep working. They truly appreciate all the support that everyone has given over the years and we are excited to keep building the highest quality products available today.
