Description
During the early 1990’s, times were changing. One man named Gary Gordon was an iconic Delta Force Operator who built a modern day legend we like to call the Gordon Carbine. Made widely known by the 2001 academy award winning film “Black Hawk Down.” Gary Gordon cut down his carbine to 12.5″ in order to make it a more compact package with his Ops Inc 30 cal suppressor. Operators like Gary Gordon starting equipping their rifles with Aimpoint 5000’s on specialized A.R.M.S. Weaver style rails. Gary Gordon ultimately gave his life in Operator Gothic Serpent during a rescue attempt of crashed helicopter pilot Mike Durant. Operators like Gary Gordon paved the way for innovation which ultimately led us to using a wide variety of accessories on firearms. Gary Gordon was a pioneer and in an effort to pay homage to him, we have decided to release our own modern interpretation called the Gordon Carbine.
This TYPE-A Gordon Carbine is built on an accurate fixed carry handle upper with options for an A2 style or C7 depending on user preference. The Gordon Carbine is equipped with a 12.5″ Chrome-Lined, 5R, 4150V chrome moly vanadium barrel finished in a clean Mag Phos finish with an Allen Engineering AEMB muzzle pinned/welded coupled with an SPR collar to fit an Allen AEM5 suppressor.  It’s also equipped with a 7 hole classic clamshell handguard, A2 grip, and CAR15 style stock.  The TYPE-A Gordon Carbine is driven by our TYPE-A QPQ bolt carrier group w/R.E.M Polish.
