The SEAL Recon Rifle was originally built by U.S. Navy SEAL team armorers and then later by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (Crane Divison) was design to provide snipers with a lightweight, portable, accurate weapon with greater lethality than the standard issue M4 carbine. The SEAL Recon was sometime referred to the “Recce Rifle”.
This TYPE-A SEAL Recce is built on an accurate Long Rifle platform with proven mil-spec components to make it an incredibly versatile rifle. The SEAL Recce is equipped with a 15.1″ 416R Stainless steel match grade barrel with an Allen Engineering AEMB muzzle pinned/welded coupled with an SPR collar to fit an Allen AEM5 suppressor. It’s also equipped with our TYPE-A MK Series Quad Rail & B5 Sopmod furniture. The TYPE-A RECCE Rifle is driven by our TYPE-A QPQ bolt carrier group w/R.E.M Polish. Equipped with a DGI (direct gas impingement) system and our new TYPE-A PMC Straight 2-stage trigger to give it consistent reliability time after time.
NOTE: All of our rifles are Hardcoat Anodized and then Cerakoted to give you a longer lasting more durable finish. We wanted your rifle to wear to the anodized surface vs. the raw aluminum surface like some of our competitors. Just another added benefit making our rifles…TYPE-A.
