Description
This TYPE-A 11.5 CONTRACTOR is built on a ridged piston platform with improved lower controls with the addition of a fully Ambidextreous Billet Receiver to make it an incredibly versatile pistol. The 11.5 CONTRACTOR is equipped with a 11.5″ 416R match grade lightweight contour stainless steel barrel, as well as the choice of an improved SPR/10.875 Hybrid MLOK Handguard, 10.875 MK2 Slim MLOK handguard or 10.875 Quad Rail. It also comes standard with a SILENCERCO ASR muzzle brake. Fully furnished with B5 furniture, a Law Tactical GEN3 Folder and 30 round capacity magazines. The TYPE-A 11.5 CONTRACTOR is driven by our TYPE-A Titanium Nitride carrier and a 30 position fully adjustable short stroke piston system. It’s also equipped with our TYPE-A PMC Straight 2-stage trigger to give it consistent reliability time after time.
NOTE: All of our rifles are Hardcoat Anodized and then Cerakoted to give you a longer lasting more durable finish. We wanted your rifle to wear to the anodized finish vs. the raw aluminum surface. Just another added benefit making your rifle….TYPE-A.

I have this without the folder but that’s pretty irrelevant. I’m a big piston fan, I have a virtus, Lwrc, lmt, Pws, I’ve had a pof and I’ve shot the adams arms, this is the lightest piston setup I’ve ran to date. I’m not saying it’s THE lightest EVER, I’m not an expert, but from my experience so far it has been.
If you’re on the fence about trying out a piston gun because of the weight don’t worry about it at all with type a. On top of that if you’re concerned about the different recoil impulse of a piston (it’s 223/556 it’s never really mattered to me) then type a also has the most adjustable gas block in a piston setup as well, at most you usually get 3 settings, suppressed, non suppressed, adverse conditions. Usually you’re only getting the 2, that’s fine those guns work, but my point being this has plenty of adjustment if you’re concerned with recoil impulse from the piston, or gas from suppressors.
An incredibly delightful firearm, so much so that I have their smg clone and a 13.7 contractor on order as well. It’s worth the wait, or hunt around online, especially with shops in Michigan
