Our uppers and lowers are forged from 7075-T611 aluminum.

his platform is built on a Chrome-Lined, 5R, 4150V chrome moly vanadium barrel finished in a clean Mag Phos finish. All 5.56 NATO barrels are threaded with a 1/2X28 pitch.

All Short Barrel Rifles (SBR) are considered an NFA item and require a Tax Stamp. Please contact your local dealer to request info on your states laws.

All of our Carriers go through a R.E.M Polish process prior to QPQ coating. The R.E.M Polish process reduces friction, improves part durability, improves oil retention, and improves contact & bending fatigue. Our Bolts are MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspected) and coated in a durable titanium nitride finish.

This model will come standard with a fully adjustable gas block to give you the ability to find tune your firearm while running suppressor or even while running higher pressure rounds.

TRIGGER 5 — This rifle runs our TYPE-A Mil-Spec Trigger. Constructed from pre-hardened 4140 this trigger is coated in QPQ to fight against friction and to ensure lubricity.

Description

The Dutch variant of the L119A1, known as the C8NLD, was first introduced in 2004 as the standard issue rifle for the Royal Netherlands Army. It is based on the L119A1, a variant of the Canadian Colt Canada C8 assault rifle, which itself is based on the American M4 carbine.

The C8NLD was developed to meet the specific requirements of the Dutch military, with modifications such as a longer barrel, adjustable stock, and ambidextrous controls. It has been used in various deployments and operations by Dutch forces, including in Afghanistan and Mali.The L119A1 variant was a shorter version of the C8NLD developed for close quarters operations.

On January 15, 2019, a coordinated terrorist attack took place at the DusitD2 hotel and office complex in Nairobi, Kenya. Christian Craighead was using a L119A1 slightly different from the dutch variant but still showed the capability of the weapon system Overall, the Dutch variant of the L119A1 has proven to be a reliable and effective weapon for the Royal Netherlands Army, providing soldiers with a versatile as well as an accurate rifle for any combat situation.

Our CANSOFCOM IUR is equipped with a 12.5″ Chrome-Lined, 5R, 4150V chrome moly vanadium barrel finished in a clean Mag Phos finish and Allen Engineering AEMB muzzle coupled with an SPR collar to fit an Allen AEM5 suppressor. The TYPE-A CANSOFCOM IUR is driven by our TYPE-A Chrome Nitride bolt carrier group w/R.E.M Polish and equipped with a DGI (direct gas impingement) system. Also, equipped with a TYPE-A PMC Straight 2-stage trigger to give it consistent reliability time after time.

NOTE: All of our rifles are Hardcoat Anodized and then Cerakoted to give you a longer lasting more durable finish. We wanted your rifle to wear to the anodized surface vs. the raw aluminum surface like some of our competitors. Just another added benefit making our rifles…TYPE-A.
