The Mk12 Mod1 or Special Purpose Rifle was used heavily by Special Operations Forces of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. It’s a modified light designated marksman variation of the M16 chambered in 5.56x45mm.
This TYPE-A Mk12 Mod1 is built on an accurate Long Rifle platform with proven mil-spec components to make it an incredibly versatile rifle. The Mk12 Mod1 Long Rifle is equipped with a 18″ 416R Stainless steel match grade barrel with an Allen Engineering AEMB muzzle mount coupled with an SPR collar to fit an Allen AEM5 suppressor. It’s equipped with our TYPE-A MK Series Quad Rail & B5 Sopmod furniture. The TYPE-A Mk12 Mod1 is driven by our TYPE-A QPQ bolt carrier group w/R.E.M Polish. It’s also equipped with a DGI (direct gas impingement) system and our new TYPE-A PMC Straight 2-stage trigger to give it consistent reliability time after time.
NOTE: All of our rifles are Hardcoat Anodized and then Cerakoted to give you a longer lasting more durable finish. We wanted your rifle to wear to the anodized surface vs. the raw aluminum surface like some of our competitors. Just another added benefit making our rifles…TYPE-A.

I frequently group 1 MOA or better with this rifle compared to other mk 12 variants, the build quality is amazing and did not disappoint. Definitely worth the wait.
